Abstract
The diagnosis and treatment of lymphangiomas may be difficult according to their localization. 38 year old woman compla-ining from a mass on the left side of her neck causing pain during swallowing and difficulty in feeding vvas determinated. Her physical examination shovved a mass bulging from her left lateral oropharyngeal wall covering with normal mucosa and an un-remarkable margined mass under her left mandible extending through the hyoid bone. The lesion explored by transcervical ap-roach and a cystic lesion extended from the carotid bifurcation through the styloid process adjacent to carotid arteries, internal jugular vein and cranial nerves vvas observed and removed totally. Lymphangioma should be reminded in differential diagnosis of oropharyngeal masses and complete removal of the lesion with preserving adjacent vessels could be performed by meticulo-us evaluation and intraoperative management.
