Abstract

INTRODUCTION

Acute abdominal pain is a common symptom and constitutes 5% -10% of patients admitted to the emergency department. But non-surgical events such as pituitary insufficiency also may be clinically evident together or pituitary insufficiency may occur during the stressful situations.

METHODS

In this study, we evaluated five patients that abdominal pain with pituitary insufficiency in a single center.

RESULTS

After treatment, abdominal pain regressed all patients finding pituitary insufficiency

DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION

Eventually, especially in geriatric populatıon abdominal pain causes for it should be noted that it might be multifactoriel.
