Abstract
Synchronous bilateral seminoma is encountered in 1.0-2.8% of all testicular tumors. A 33-year old patient was diagnosed as bilateral synchronous seminoma of classical type. The stage of the disease was T1N2S0. Radiotherapy was delivered with a dose of 24.5 Gy to bilateral pelvic and paraaortic lymph nodes whereas 20Gy to residual testicular tissue on the left; in addition, radiotherapy was delivered with a dose of 10.8Gy to paraaortic lymph node region. The patient has been in remission for 26-months. Here, we presented a case with synchronous bilateral seminoma of classical type and discussed effectiveness and value of radiation therapy.
